Decision Making on Road Accidents on the Basis of Their Reliability Factor

Now-a-days road accidents are one of the serious problems in India and road accidents are the leading cause of death. In this study, first we are analyzing data on road accidents on the basis of following attributes: foggy weather condition, speed limit more or less than 40 km/hr, traffic affecting the accidents on roads, etc. Theory of Rough Set is considered to be an apt new mathematical tool to analyze data of real life based situations and Theory of Rough Set provides new approach into Bayes' theorem. Thus using one of the data analysis techniques i.e. using bayes' theorem, we identify high-frequency accident attribute and check how they influence road accidents in order to avoid those factors which increase chances of the accidents.
