Bleaching effect in nanosized chromogenic WO/sub 3/ under picosecond excitation

Summary form only given. We report on the nonlinear optical effects on WO/sub 3/ nanoparticles embedded on polyvinylalcohol thin film. Picosecond pump-probe technique (15-ps pulses at 540 nm from Nd:YAlO/sub 3/ laser as pump and 15-ps white continuum as probe) was used.
