The Development of a Virtual Learning Kit in the Discipline ”Mathematical Modeling of Systems and Components of the Electric Drive”

Approaches for developing of virtual learning kit for preparing electric drives engineers are offered. Modeling of semiconductor rectifiers is sufficiently studied at present. However in many scientific papers used for training of electric drive specialists this problem is presented in its own unique way. In this paper, known approaches of semiconductor electric drives digital models developing will be summarized. And authors' vision of this problem, that is (taking into consideration) of as many as possible special features of complete units and electric drive system in whole, is offered. Proposed to consider variant differs in that developing of the kit in Matlab software actual power components and their digital prototypes are directly conformed. Also the problem of based on the principle of sampling method thyristor pulse-phase control system digital model developing will be considered. The reason for developing of such a learning kit is to improve quality and level of specialized in electric drive educational programs graduates.
