Calibration determines the correspondence between the input and output signal of a temperature sensor. In this case, the calibration of the thermoresistance determin a dependency relationship between the input signal, electrical resistance (Ω), and the output signal, temperature (° C). A practical method for calibration thermometers with electrical resistance is using calibrators temperature or thermostatic baths, which consists of measuring the electrical resistance of the calibrated thermometer with electrical resistance, and temperature of the working medium in which the calibrated and standard thermometers are immersed, at set point temperature. All the individual uncertainty components of thermoresistance calibration should have predefined values and provide for the total extended measurement uncertainty a smaller value.
