Laboratory Off-Grid Photovoltaic System with Two Axes Orientation

The article presents the design and realization of a laboratory off-grid photovoltaic system with two axes orientation using analogic elements and components. The photovoltaic system is designed considering its operating subsystems, such as: modules for the horizontal orientation of the panel, modules for the vertical orientation of the panel, charging module, monitoring module for the batteries, DC-DC converter, DC-AC converter. For the main operating subsystem there are presented the design and operating mode. Experiments and a comparative analysis are considered for the next cases: the panel is fixed, the panel is oriented on a single axe, and the panel has two axes orientation. The laboratory photovoltaic system can be used for educational and researches purposes.
