Autonomous Controller for MetOcean Monitoring Station

Marine environment is an important part of coastal community life. The environmental changes that occurred along with the development of activity and infrastructure development. It is necessary to conduct environmental monitoring by making autonomous controller for MetOcean monitoring station based on single board computer with AWS as meteorology sensor and ADCP sensor. The system works in gathering data from AWS and ADCP sensor. ADCP and AWS will be serialized to text data and transmitted to server through gsm modem. The output is observed weather parameters include temperature, pressure, humidity, speed, wind direction, solar radiation, and rainfall. While the physical parameters of the ocean waters are tidal, speed, direction of surface currents, surface temperature, salinity, wave height period. For the first time, this system was installed and tested in a port area.
