Design and Analysis of 2×2 MIMO system for WLANs - A Review

802.11n considered as the newest standard in the IEEE 802.11 family. It includes the benefits of earlier version of the standard 802.11a/b also g. 802.11n which has 2.4GHz operating frequency similar to the 802.11g/b, and Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing modulation such as 802.11a. It also utilizes Multiple-Input Multiple Output technique in which multiple input are sent and multiple output are received. 802.11n also has the backward compatibility to the previous standard. If operating in the same environment, 802.11n will boot up the performance of other standard rather than slow itself down like 802.11g. 802.11n use many different modulation techniques. 16 Quadrature Amplitude Modulation for simulation, using Mat lab, the end to end communication system is built using the communication tool box.
