Experimental Analysis of Rotary Speed Observers for Electric Drive with Cascaded Control System

Different structures of rotary speed observers are analysed. Particularly, simple differential observer, integral observer, integral observer with proportional feedback correction and integral observer with differential feedback correction are considered. To improve performance of the observer it is suggested to include in feedback path a differential block and a first order filter. The designed rotary speed observer is used for angle tracking of telescope electric drive.
