A Cooperative Communication Scheme for Full-Duplex Simultaneous Wireless Information and Power Transfer Wireless Body Area Networks

In this article, we investigate the integration of simultaneous wireless information and power transfer as well as full-duplex (FD) in a two-tier wireless body area network (WBAN), where the FD relay can transfer energy to the sources, forward data to the destination, and receive data from the sources simultaneously. Considering the characteristics of WBANs, the average delay limited weighted throughput maximization problem is proposed, under the average queue stability, the long-term and short-term power/energy, and the transmission rate constraints. An effective algorithm based on the Lagrange dual decomposition method is proposed. The simulation results show that our proposed scheme outperforms the existing scheme.
