Performance Analysis of Brain Emotional Controller for Rotary Inverted Pendulum System

This paper presents performance analysis of bioinspired brain emotional intelligent controller for inverted pendulum system. The position control of rotary inverted pendulum system is one of the challenging problems. In this paper brain emotional controller is designed and implemented for position control application of inverted pendulum system. The performance of proposed controller is analyzed with conventional PV and PID controllers. These results show that the brain emotional controller is very robust and sensitive to parameter and load variations.
