Noise Control and Experimental Study of Engine Oil Pump

At the design beginning of a certain type of passenger car, the noise spectrum of the air intake system is analyzed. Firstly, the structure model and acoustic model are established by GEM3D, and then GT-Power was used to analyze the noise of the system and simulate the full load condition of the engine. The sound pressure levels of the third, sixth, ninth, and twelfth order nozzle noise at 1000-6000r/min were respectively calculated and optimized. Comparing the sound pressure levels, the results show that the each order and the total sound pressure levels of the intake system do not exceed the target curve to meet the noise reduction requirements.
