Vector Control of Autonomous Induction Generator with Battery Storage System

This paper presents the oriented rotor flux vector control of an induction generator in autonomous operation driven by a variable speed wind turbine that operates at maximum power. The aim of this control is to supply the autonomous load with constant voltage and power when the speed of the rotor is variable. In order to achieve this objective, energy storage batteries are inserted at the output of the rectifier via a buck-boost chopper. The simulation results on Matlab-Simulink obtained are presented and commented.
