Multi-Fold Physical Layer Data Encryption Using Chaotic Frequency Hopping

This paper proposes a multi-fold optical frequency hopping (FH) scheme based on hyper digital chaos. The multi-fold data encryption is achieved by the incorporation of chaotic sequences into traditional FH scheme, where a hyper digital chaos is implemented to generate the optical carrier frequency, FH rate as well as the available frequency set respectively. is provided in the proposed multi-fold data encryption. The performances of data transmission and security enhancement of the proposed FH scheme are simulated and analyzed in details.
