A Secure Inductive Power Transfer Using $2\times 2$ MIMO

This paper proposes a 2×2 MIMO deployment for realization of secure inductive power transfer (IPT). The design concept is to optimize the configuration such that the two output/input currents going in opposite directions to create a loop magnetic field confined in the space among the coils. EM simulations show that the system effectively prevents energy from leaking to an unauthorized user even it is placed on top of the authorized user.
