Analytical Comparison of Bluetooth Low Energy Beacons

Present paper discusses the Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) beacons comparison process. Approximately 85 devices were compared by different parameters given by manufacturers. There is comparison of transmission power, expected life in years and calculated average energy consumption. The most commonly used Systems on Chips (SoC) and batteries are shown. Misleading points are also discussed. Analytical conclusions have been made, helping to select the right beacon.
