Developing a Low-Cost Security System with Wireless Sensor Networks

Wireless Sensor Networks are a new technology that have been on the agenda lately and can be applied to many areas. Data can be gathered interactively using Wireless Sensor Networks, this information can be collectively evaluated and, if necessary, changes can be made to the environment based on information. In this study, the sensor node that made the Wireless Sensor Networks was developed and a low-cost security system was realized by using these nodes. In the developed system, motion sensor, natural gas and methane gas measurement sensor, air quality measurement sensor and alarm buzzer are used. The system is expected to have a low cost and widespread use due to its functions.
