Enhancing Smart-home Environments Using Infrared Arrays

The present work is focused on options for enhancing the functionality of a smart home system. The use of an array of infrared radiometers is contemplated. Specific features have been considered in designing such a type of remote temperature measurement systems in home environments. The main sources of measurement error are evaluated. The collection of temperature information under different scenarios is described.
