Development and Testing of Plasma-Thermal Electric Furnace for Organic Waste Processing

A complex plasma-thermal electric furnace for processing various carbon-containing wastes (communal, biological, agricultural, and other organic wastes) with processing power of 20 kg/h has been developed and created. Test operation of the electric furnace showed that synthesis gas, suitable for the needs of heat and power engineering, produced at plasma gasification of carbon-containing materials.
