Blind source separation: A preprocessing tool for monitoring of structures

The paper considers the problem of Blind Source Separation (BSS), as an emerging advanced signal processing technique, and presents in this framework two applications having as subject building monitoring and large dam surveillance using a non-conventional technique. The applications pointed out the effectiveness of the approach based on blind source separation, as a preprocessing tool for monitoring of civil structures.
