Measurement of involuntary movements system for neurological diseases patients during equinotherapy

Equine therapy is a treatment on a horse that allows the stimulation of people physically and neurologically in areas related to walk. It is important to emphasize the recognition of these therapies since there is not much scientific documentation to support it. The main objective of this research is to create a device that allows to determine the benefit of these therapies in a quantitative way. This document describes the development of a system to measure the involuntary movements of patients with neurological diseases. The system is composed of accelerometers that send signals to a mobile device for storage and subsequent processing. The device presented not only allows an evaluation in real time, but also the temporary record, with which it will be possible to quantify the evolution in the tremor of patients.
