Comments on “A Single-Inductor Multiple-Output Switcher With Simultaneous Buck, Boost, and Inverted Outputs”

In the paper by Patra et al., a single-inductor multiple-output switcher was presented to produce buck, boost, and inverted outputs simultaneously. Unfortunately, this study showed some unexpected mistakes, especially in state-space equations and in the calculation of output voltages. The objective of this note was to provide correct analysis and rectify the errors in this paper. Some tables and equations have been modified that were present in the initial draft of this paper. The obtained parameters in this work could be an effective supplement and extension for the original work in the paper by Patra et al.
