Analysis of EM scattered fields versus frequency in the proximity of surrounding cylindrical structures

Scattered EM fields versus frequency in the proximity of surrounding cylindrical structures are studied by analyzing and measuring the magnetic field amplitude near a conducting and a simulated human body (SHB) dielectric cylinder. Using classical cylindrical wave functions, the magnetic field amplitude near each cylinder is calculated over a frequency range of 200 MHz to 1 GHz. In this paper, we are concerned with only magnetic field effects. Computed results when compared with measurement results of the magnetic field show a good agreement. Further study indicates that variations in the magnetic field amplitude occur with cylinder rotation and measurement distance from the cylinder.
