Leakage-based probabilistic robust beamforming over MISO interference channel

In this paper, we study the robust beamforming for MISO interference channel under probabilistic outage constraints. With imperfect channel state information at the transmitter (CSIT), we aim to minimize the weighted sum transmit power while certain outage probabilities are ensured for the users. First of all, instead of the conventional signal-to-interference-plus-noise ratio (SINR) criterion, the signal-to-leakage-plus-noise ratio (SLNR) metric is considered to lower the burden of CSIT exchange among multiple transmitters and formulate a distributed probabilistic robust beamforming design. Additionally, since the non-convex and stochastic outage constraints would present huge analytical and computational challenges, the original constraints are replaced by conservative convex and deterministic counterparts by employing Bernstein-type inequality and semi-definite relaxation (SDR). Simulation results demonstrate that in the case of well-enough feasibility, our proposed SLNR-based robust beamforming design consumes less transmit power than other related schemes.
