The potential role of synthetic biology in manufacturing of regenerative medicine

In this paper, many challenges remain in bringing regenerative medicine to the mass market; safety, efficacy,reproducibility and affordability of such therapies are some of the considerations. This review explores the possible roles that synthetic biology may be able to play in overcoming some of these challenges.
