Designing AR daily prayers for children with ASD

An Individual with Autism Spectrum Disorder is an individual that is diagnosed of having a developmental disorder before the age of 3 years old. The diagnosis is focused on communication disorders, social interaction, and behavior. Disruption of this development requires parents, teachers, and therapists to provide an appropriate learning model that has a positive impact on the individual with Autism Spectrum Disorder. The aim of this research is to develop a prototype of a mobile-based application therapy media for the individual with Autism Spectrum Disorder named ARDOA. This application utilizes Flash Card as learning media using Augmented Reality. The content used on ARDOA application is in the form of daily prayer for Muslim children and its design is in the form of audio video animation. The selection of audio video animation is due to the ability and the effectiveness of the learning process of the individual with Autism Spectrum Disorder. The result of this preliminary study is in form of the design and implementation of Augmented Reality on learning media for the individual with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
