Fabrication of low operating temperature acetone sensor based on ag-lafeo3 nanomaterials

In this paper, we prepared two kinds of structure of sliver doped LaFeO
₃
nanocrystalline by sol-gel/hydrothermal processing and molecular imprinting technique (MIT). The synthesized nanoparticles were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscope (SEM), transmission electron microscope (TEM). Gas sensors were fabricated out of synthesized samples and it was observed that Ag-LaFeO
₃
rod have low temperature selectivity toward acetone, and sensors were able to detect even low concentration (5 ppm) of acetone vapor. At the optimal operating temperature of 60°C, the response of the sensor to 5 ppm acetone is 9.12, the response and recovery times are 150 s and 27 s, respectively.
