The content authenticity property of the compressive sensing based imaging method

Compressive Sensing can be implemented to protect the privacy of information, this property could be also used to authenticate Compressive Sensing based imaging measurements, since attacker without knowledge about the measurement matrix/key cannot modify the content in a meaningful way but just results noise. When the received measurements were proven to be contently acceptable, the adversary has almost no influence on the content integrity and authenticity. In order to take advantage of this character, we have proposed three mechanisms, which require user orientation, content detector or content-based authentication methods. With those mechanisms the Compressive Sensing based imaging system can sense, compress, encrypt and authenticate the image scene in one step.
