Fully automated regression tool for post silicon validation

As complexity of the micro controllers is increasing day by day in the modern world, there needs to be a setup to validate legacy modules (IP) without much manual effort. This paves a way for automated setups. In this paper we intend to explain a fully automated regression tool for post silicon validation that is developed using Python script. This setup is not only useful in bypassing manual intervention, but it also helps in time reduction by providing fully automated capabilities starting from code compiling to execution to further results compilation. This setup also facilitates the user by providing configurability and randomization features.
