Total and suspended solids removal evaluation in effluent from anaerobic bioreactor and effluent from cyclic ozonation-biotreatmemnt in dyeing industry wastewater treatment

A comparison between biological treatment and a combination of that with ozonation in wastewater of dyeing factories was studied to evaluate the total and suspended solids removal of the treated wastewater. This study was done in 13 steps and the ozone injection started from the 5

step. Wastewater arising from such industry has hazardous and resistant pollutants which cause some serious environmental issues, and that is for containing specific compounds which in biological reactors in a liquid phase is absorbed incredibly easier with a higher rate. Through this method a very noticeable decreasing in total and suspended solids in Cyclic Ozonation-Biotreatment system in comparison with the most common biological treatment systems (anaerobic digester) in this industry was achieved.
