Hum detecting equipment for contactors

Analysis of voltage, hum, current, frequency etc., are the important parameters for hum monitoring. The method proposed here uses a couple of non audio signals from MAX4465 microphone of range 80–120V and frequency 50Hz. Based on the specifications given by the contactor here we designed a circuit for the parallel measurement of hum and the respective voltage. The hum is measured automatically using the Lab VIEW software and voltage at which hum produced is being detected. This method is much more impressing because of its distinct advantages like accuracy, ease in usage and reliability.
