Volume manufacturing and industrial applications of metamaterials: Rolling lithography, holography, laser filtering and photovoltaics

In this paper we examine different applications of metamaterials in industrial environments. We provide overview of activities in laser filtering and photovoltaics. We also stress the importance of manufacturing metamaterials and metasurfaces in high volume and affordably. Specifically, we focus on the technique of rolling lithography, which can produce nanopatterned surfaces over meter-long lengths.
