Antenna array iterative synthesis algorithm

It is shown that in the synthesis of antenna array pattern, there is a class of problems in which the synthesis conditions for given angular regions are recorded as additional constraints. For similar tasks, it is convenient to organize the solution in the form of an iterative process, at each step of which the requirements to the shape of the radiation pattern are consistently fulfilled or constraints on its level are imposed. The problems of initial approximation choosing which improves the process convergence are considered. A number of simulation results are presented.
