Resonant characteristics of impedance monopole placed on flat infinite metal screen

The algorithm for the calculation of the resonant characteristics of an impedance monopole placed on ideally conducting infinite screen is developed with using the asymptotic expressions for a current and an input impedance of the thin impedance wire dipoles with electric length 0.4 <; 21 / λ<; 0.6 in the free space. On the basis of the numerical calculations the detailed analysis of resonant properties of the impedance dipoles depending on their geometrical sizes and the normalized distributed surface impedance is carried out. The dependencies of the resonant surface impedance values on a relative thickness and the length of the monopoles are presented. The influence of the type of the impedance on the resonant monopole length is shown.
