A survey of video datasets for anomaly detection in automated surveillance

Automated anomaly detection in surveillance system demands to address various problems of real-time monitoring. Due to these challenges, the researchers from computer vision community focused on automation of the surveillance system. The research carried out in this domain has been proposed many datasets which are suitable for different applications. Though many prominent datasets are available, there is lack of description and categorization of these datasets according to the application demand. A survey on anomaly detection video datasets is necessary for researchers to understand and progress in this domain. This paper presents various datasets description briefly.
