Information management issues and business model analysis of O2O games: A review of Pokemon Go

In the context of knowledge-based economy, O2O (Online to Offline) games such as Pokemon Go not only bring a revolutionary change to the industry of online games but also affect people's daily life with augmented reality technology, which will definitely cause transformation of business models. This paper analyzes the development process of online games and compares O2O games with traditional online games and traditional O2O industry. Information management issues of O2O games are analyzed, and potential business models, which may drive new economic growth in this era characterized by knowledge economics, are discussed.
