Study of the high-pressure abrasive water jet cutting potential on the example of aluminum 2017

The paper presents the results of the research of cutting potential, a relatively new technology that is a high-pressure water jet cutting during the cutting of aluminum 2017. The research was preceded by preparation of an appropriate experiment plan, which was also presented. In addition, the methodology of the study was presented. The results show that there is a need for further research in this area, in particular for the various types of materials, metal and non-metallic.
