Implementation of relational algebra operations for web

Recently, the ability of the computer i s not only used in calculation, but also the ability to store and provide information that eventually formed a system called database. Database as data storage and processing center has a very important role in getting information. Information retrieval in database system is currently one that uses XML. In our study, we focus on defining queries using the operations of relational algebra allowing to be evaluated in web-based database using document XML. This work aims for describing and implementing a tool that transforms a relational algebra expression into a stylesheet language for XML; XSLT and also the expression of XPath. Study result showed that the expression of relational algebra operations can be applied to XML documents. As it is known that a XML document is a document with a different data model semi-sructural on the application of relational algebra generally applied to the data with the relational model that involves a data in the form of a relation.
