Enabling enhanced data security for aquaculture management services

Aquaculture farmers and exporters usually face concerns related to data privacy and security of their farm data while using digital apps (Mobile Applications). Existing applications encrypt data by transmitting the keys over the network to achieve data security. However if this key is pilfered, there arises a risk of compromise in data security. To overcome this risk, we have proposed a method to avoid the transfer of keys over the network. In the proposed method, user's input data such as password, is hashed and encrypted and is used along with a set of random prime numbers to generate the encryption / decryption keys at both client and server end. This approach helps in adding a second layer of data security.
