Evaluation of the quality of the dielectric spectroscopy data

The dielectric spectroscopy data contains information on both the structure and internal bonds of the material and its functional properties. Due to the principles of dielectric spectroscopy, such measurements require rather complex processing algorithms. The method for evaluating the quality of the data is based on the property of smoothness of dielectric responses. Based on experimental data, several algorithms were proposed for assessing the quality of data for experiments of medium and high quality. Main working hypotheses of linearity, stationarity, causality and lack of “memory” effects are checked before substantial processing of the experimental data. We have noticed some difference between our experimental data and classical Debye dependencies. We have also noticed a wider frequency transition area of the complex permittivity and a smaller maximum value of its imaginary part.
