Low-profile triband ISM dipole antenna

This paper presents a low-profile, low cost and easy to fabricate triple band ISM dipole antenna. The proposed antenna was designed to operate in the 434 MHz, 915 MHz and 2.45 GHz ISM bands. The antenna was fabricated with 20.7 × 2.7 × 0.15 (cm) dimensions and tested. The measurements show successful operation in the above-mentioned ISM bands and good performances for the antenna including -15 dB bandwidths, gain and omnidirectional radiation patterns. From measurements, this antenna also covers wireless applications within the 1.644 - 2.612 GHz frequency range including WLAN, Wi-Max and GSM.
