Wireless unit for environmental monitoring

Living conditions in any country are important, especially a local environment is more important to many people. The parameters like a noise level, light intensity, barometric pressure, carbon monoxide (CO) and carbon dioxide (CO
₂
) concentration levels are monitored to evaluate living conditions. The mentioned reasons led to the practical realization of Wireless Unit for Environmental Monitoring (WUEM). This paper describes a basic concept of the monitoring unit, its main parts and functionalities. The parameters and the proper function are evaluated on the base of the measurement and the results are discussed.
