Computers in Belarus: chronology of the main events

The author presents a list of events chronicling the historical development of computing in Belarus (Eastern Europe). The list certainly shows that computer scientists were active in Belarus-particularly in several of the major areas of programming and hardware-and it provides a starting point, with names and dates, for further research.
