Pressure Effect on Magnetism of Weak Itinerant Electron Ferromagnet $\mathrm{Ni}_{74.6}\mathrm{Al}_{25.4}$

Pressure effect on the magnetic properties of intermetallic compound Ni
_74.6
Al
_25.4
was investigated in pressures P up to 1.2 GPa. Spontaneous magnetic moment ps and Curie temperature TC decreased linearly with applying pressure. The dp
_s
/dP and dT
_C
/dP were -0.995 x 10

μB/MPa and -4.57 x 10
^-3
K/MPa, respectively. These obtained magnetic properties are analyzed on the basis of Takahashi's spin fluctuation theory for itinerant electron ferromagnets.
