Comparison of the response of BeOSL and TLD-100 passive personal dosimeters with four detectors

The aim of this study was to evaluate and compare the dosimetric response of passive personal dosimeters based on BeOSL and TLD-100 technology, using the four detectors version of both dosimeters. The guide IEC 62387 was followed. The results prove that both systems meet the required criteria needed to be used as personal dosimeters. The choice between any of these detectors depends on the relative importance given to the different factors analyzed.
