Monitoring and controlling double carriage elevator system using CX-designer and CX-programmer

This paper explains about the operation of the double carriage elevator which consists of four level using CX-Programmer and CX-Designer. CX-Programmer consists of ladder diagram and CX-Designer provide HMI (Human Machine Interface) for the elevator. The main objective of this project are to learn PLC programming using CX-Programmer, using DLT table to make decision making program either lift 1 or lift 2 to be called when a push button is pressed and to monitor the movement of the elevator on HMI design. The result from this project showed that it meets the reliability and enhanced stability of the elevator.
