Frequency of restrikes at vacuum interrupters during the first operation stage

The paper considers the problem of changing the frequency of restrikes at vacuum interrupters during the first hundred current commutations. The investigation is carried out on a vacuum interrupter having Cu-Cr(50%) contacts with a 13 mm stroke.
