Finite Element Particle Simulation On Unstructured Grids

There is a great interest in developing plasma simulation methods that can handle the geometrical complexity of real plasma devices. We will show results from a prototype code called MadMax which uses finite elements on an unstructured grid of triangles. The unstructured grid provides enormous flexibility in fitting the computational nodes to a problem.
