The Impending Crisis In Analog Test

The price of an increasing number of analog integrated circuits, particularly mixed-signal devices, is dominated by the cost of production testing. While there are many contributing factors, this panel discussion will focus on two of the more important. One is the direct cost determined by the price of test equipment and the time the device under test (OUT) spends on that equipment. The other component is the indirect and less tangible cost incurred when test development time becomes the bottleneck for new devices.
