Efficient calculation of the Green's function for the rectangular cavity

An efficient method is developed for the rapid and accurate calculation of the potential Green's function in the rectangular cavity. The proposed method is based on the Ewald sum technique and converts the slowly convergent cavity Green's function into the sum of two exponentially convergent series. The transformed series achieves fast convergence with only a small number of terms in the calculation.
