Session 3: Technology issues in ITS information services - Introduction

The goal of Session 3 is to develop an understanding of technology issues that are central to creating and delivering ITS information services. Directly or indirectly, consumer needs and perspectives shape these issues and the resulting development and economic viability of products, services, and support infrastructure that will define the ITS information services industry. The consumer marketplace for this industry spans public agencies charged with developing and deploying ITS infrastructure, the private freight and passenger industries, and the traveling public.
